USING THE SAME COMMENT

Over, and Over, and Over...

If you find yourself unexpectedly leaving the same comment again and again (you typically realize this on your fifth paper) as you're marking papers, save yourself some time and save that comment as a QuickMark®.

Creating a QuickMark

To create a new QuickMark from a regular bubble comment made on a student's paper:

  1. Click anywhere on the paper to add a comment to the paper
  2. Enter the comment description within the text field
  3. Click on the "Save as new QuickMark" link
  4. Enter a title for the QuickMark. This title will be displayed on the paper.
  5. Select a set to add this QuickMark to by clicking on the drop down menu.
Note: QuickMark comments that are not added to a set will be located within "All" in the QuickMark manager.
  6. Click "Save" to save the new QuickMark comment

HELP DESK: HAVING STUDENT LIMIT ISSUES?

Make sure that your old classes are expired to prevent former students from counting against your institution's student limit—any student profile that is enrolled in an active class will count toward this limit, but of course students can be enrolled in multiple classes and only count once. This will keep things from coming to a screeching halt for all of your colleagues' classes which can disrupt enrollment and assignment submissions across campus.
