What is the Turnitin Teachers Tour?
Turnitin is visiting select cities across North America to share advice from Turnitin experts, instructors, and peers on preventing plagiarism and engaging students in the writing process.

Who should attend?
Educators, administrators, and staff from universities, colleges, high schools, and middle schools interested in making the most of their access to Turnitin, and ready to listen, learn, and share best practices.

How much does it cost?
The event is free to attend.

Presenters

Renee Bangerter has been a composition instructor for 15 years and is instrumental in training faculty in the practical uses of technology, including implementing Turnitin through the Turnitin Academy Live webinar series. Renee currently teaches English at Saddleback College in California.

Sarah Lorntson has been an English Language Arts teacher at Mahtomedi High School for the last 11 years. She is a SMART Exemplary Educator (SEE) and has presented at education and technology conferences such as TIES, ISTE, and Learning Forward.

Danielle Harris is an AP English and Composition teacher at Champlin Park High School. She has been using Turnitin for just over a year and has embraced it fully in her classes.

Ray Huang is the Customer Programs Manager for Turnitin. He regularly writes for the Turnitin blog and newsletters, organizes user events,  oversees training resources, and leads social media outreach. He will be hosting this event.
